The International Capoeira Federation (ICF) exists to guide and support the global capoeira community by promoting capoeira in all its forms—both as a powerful cultural expression and as a dynamic, competitive sport.
We are committed to advancing capoeira toward Olympic recognition while preserving its deep Afro-Brazilian roots. Through education, events, and partnerships, we help build a more inclusive and diverse global community, working in cooperation with other organizations to strengthen capoeira’s role in the world.
