The International Capoeira Federation (ICF) was founded with a singular vision: to bring global recognition to capoeira as both a cultural treasure and a competitive sport. We are a global organization composed of capoeira masters, athletes, educators, and supporters who believe in the transformative power of this Afro-Brazilian art form.
Our work spans advocacy, education, international collaboration, and event coordination. We aim to create a unified platform that respects the diverse styles and traditions of capoeira while guiding its evolution into the Olympic movement.
